Our Recent Activities

An exciting new concept, “Convict Tracks of the Victoria District” was launched in June 2018. In acknowledgement of the crucial role convicts had in the development of the Midwest, local organisations have worked together to create a drive trail to be called “Convict Tracks of the Victoria District”, which is the region between the Arrowsmith & Murchison Rivers.

The trail incorporates exhibitions about convicts at the Irwin District Museum, the Greenough Museum and Gardens, the Old Geraldton GaolLynton Convict Depot and the Chapman Valley Museum.
